As part of transitioning from holding the annual meeting in January to holding the annual meeting in October, for the 2006 legislation, two one-day conventions are being held. The first, a Special Meeting of Convention, was held at All Saints' Watsonville on October 29, 2005, and included the presentation of the narrative budget for 2006. A second convention day will be held on January 28, 2006 in Salinas.
