Installation of New Rector

The Reverend Ian Montgomery, new rector at All Saints’, Palo Alto, hopes that you will be able to join All Saints’ Parish for “A Renewal of Ministry with the Welcoming of a New Rector” this Wednesday at 7:00 with reception to follow. This will be a service proposed for inclusion by the Standing Liturgical Commission to General Convention 2006 and is meant to reflect the common origin of all ministry in our baptism. Emphasis is put less on the Rector being instituted and more on the mutuality of ministry which exists between Bishops, Priests, Deacons, and Laity in a particular place. Clergy are asked to bring Cassock, Surplice, and White Stole and will process.
