In Uganda, gay men and lesbians daily face discrimination, intimidation, and even arrest, as they seek to live their lives in a repressive country. In this insightful presentation, The Rev. Tracy Longacre, a deacon in the Diocese of California, will share photos and stories of the lesbians and gay men she met while researching her dissertation on homosexuality in Uganda. Tracy has been involved in community development work in East Africa for the past 10 years. She is currently working on a D.Min. from Wisdom University (formerly the University of Creation Spirituality). This presentation is sure to inform and inspire you. Don’t miss it.
