ECW Annual Meeting
ECW ANNUAL MEETING, at The Church of the Good Shepherd, Salinas. Theme: HONORING THE WOMEN OF THE DIOCESE - Serving with a grateful and joyful heart.

The Diocesan Episcopal Church Women will honor women from across the diocese at its Annual Meeting on Sat., April 29th. Rectors nominated “a female member in good standing of the parish who serves with a grateful and joyful heart.” Come and celebrate these women!


Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. with refreshments. The celebratory day begins with Holy Eucharist at 10:00 a.m. The ECW of Good Shepherd is planning a wonderful luncheon.

Parish priests and other parish members of the honorees are encouraged to attend and join the celebration. Register by April 15th. Flyer and registration form here.

Meet General Convention Deputies - Central
The 75th General Convention of the Episcopal Church will be held June 13-22, 2006, in Columbus, Ohio. Your El Camino Real Deputies are beginning to study the issues that will be debated. Part of the preparation is discussing important resolution with members of the local congregations. Come meet your deputies and share your ideas with them.

Three meetings are being planned, in the southern, middle and northern areas of the diocese. You may attend the meeting in your own area, or attend another if that date does not work for you.

All Deputies’ meetings held on Saturdays between 10 AM and noon:

April 22 at St. Stephen’s Church, 1344 Nipomo Street, San Luis Obispo

April 29 at St. George’s Church, 98 Kip Drive, Salinas

May 6 at St. Andrew’s Church, 13601 Saratoga Avenue, Saratoga
