Integrity Retreat May 26-28
Integrity / El Camino has had to reschedule the Spring Retreat to May 26-28 (Memorial Day Weekend). This was because the originally scheduled leader, Rev Kay Sylvester, could not make it. But as with changes, it presents a wonderful opportunity of having seminarian Rob Keim, a wonderful openly gay man and candidate for the priesthood associated with Epiphany Episcopal Church in San Carlos, lead our retreat. Besides his work at Epiphany, Rob is currently at Church Divinity School of the Pacific, and up on the latest thinking on both theology (especially from a gay perspective) and events / politics in The Episcopal Church. And he also has the perspective of joyousness and fun within the church.
With the fabulous rains of this year, the Ranch has never been more beautiful, and the Retreat should be a wonderful event. Please make your reservations as soon as possible. Note that most of 12 people who signed up for the earlier date have responded that May 26-28 is actually better for them, and so it seems this change is really a blessing. As mentioned, contact Bart Bartosh at wbartosh@kcbx.net or (805)467-3042.
