St. Barnabas', 301 Trinity Ave., Arroyo Grande 93420: The Rev. Caroline Hall will be presenting a program for the entire congregation concerning what we can do to make sure that our church is a safe place for everyone. In the morning, from 10:00 to 12:00 there will be a video and discussion of the reasons for developing a safe church policy and a brief introduction to the current diocesan and national policies. The afternoon session, from 1:00 to 3:30, will be more specific and especially important for anyone responsible for youth and children’s ministries, such as potential Sunday School teachers, vestry members and employees. This will provide the training mandated for those who will be working with children or youth.
